Ordering Transcripts

A transcript is official when it is either printed on the institution’s official transcript paper or imprinted with the university’s seal and bears the appropriate signatures OR, sent electronically from the Registrar’s Office, where that procedure is established. It is the responsibility of the requestor to check with the organization or educational institution to determine if an electronic transcript is accepted as official.

Current NOSM University Learners

To order a NOSM University transcript please email registrar@nosm.ca to make your request.
In the transcript request email, please include the following details: 

  1. The location address to which you would like the transcript sent
  2. The type of transcript you require: (1) an official transcript or (2) an unofficial transcript
  3. If requesting an official transcript, please indicate if you’d require a hard copy transcript to be mailed directly or an electronic transcript emailed directly from the Registrar’s Office.

The cost of an Official Transcript is $20 which will be charged to your NOSM University account and must be paid prior to the release of your transcript.

Unofficial transcripts are free of charge.

Graduates Of NOSM University (graduated April 2022 and onward)

To order a NOSM University transcript please email registrar@nosm.ca to make your request.
In the transcript request email, please include the following details: 

  1. The location address to which you would like the transcript sent
  2. The type of transcript you require: (1) an official transcript or (2) an unofficial transcript
  3. If requesting an official transcript, please indicate if you’d require a hard copy transcript to be mailed directly or an electronic transcript emailed directly from the Registrar’s Office.

The cost of an Official Transcript is $20 which will be charged to your NOSM University account and must be paid prior to the release of your transcript.

Graduates of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine – Lakehead and Laurentian University (graduated prior to April 2022)

NOSM University is unable to assist with these orders. NOSM learners who graduated prior to the establishment of NOSM University in 2022 must request transcripts from the university they attended, either Lakehead or Laurentian University.

Post-Graduate Medical Education Residents

NOSM University does not provide transcripts to Post-Graduate Medical Education Residents. Those who are looking for a document that confirms the completion of their post-graduate residency training are encouraged to reach out to postgrad@nosm.ca as they can provide assistance with these requests.
