At NOSM University, we recognize the importance of our employees. The Years of Service Awards allow us to recognize and express appreciation for the service of NOSM University staff at various milestones throughout their careers.
All permanent full- and part-time staff will be eligible for NOSM University Years of Service recognition. Years of service will be counted from the date of hire when an employee commences permanent employment with NOSM University. Only continuous employment will be counted to determine the Years of Service recognition.
The Years of Service awards will be earned by staff in the calendar year and will be given out annually at the Awards of Excellence event in January or February of the following year.
Staff who complete the following years of service will be recognized: 5, 10, and 15 years of service. To celebrate this milestone, and to express appreciation, eligible staff members will be presented with a years of service pin, as well as the opportunity to have special recognition on their NOSM University name badge, business card, and office name plate.
