6. Housing (Ontario Students)

When completing the PaNDa application, learners must select if they require NOSM University housing for the duration of their placement.   If plans change and housing is no longer required, you must notify the NOSM University Community Relations Coordinator immediately. Support for housing is not provided to students enrolled in a Rehabilitation Sciences Program (OT, PT, SLP, AUD) outside of Ontario.

Learners in NOSM University housing have access to their own bedroom with a lockable door. Spaces such as the kitchen, bathroom and living room are shared with other NOSM University learners. These learners may be from different programs or of a different gender.  All NOSM University’s housing units are fully furnished and equipped, have wireless internet and have bed and bath linens.

Family, partners and/or pets are not permitted in NOSM University housing.  All units are non-smoking. All weapons are prohibited on the premise. These restrictions are strictly enforced and failure to comply may result in legal and/or financial charges.

You will receive information from NOSM University’s Housing unit approximately 4-6 weeks prior to the start of your placement. This will include instructions for completing the housing agreement, information on the unit to include address, access instructions etc. Please pay close attention to housing details, requests for information or contact time for landlords. Due to restricted schedules, sufficient time is required to set up unit access.

If you have not received this information within this time, please check your junk-mail and contact us immediately. Prompt response time and attention to instructions is paramount in facilitating successful housing for your rotation.

You will receive a username and password 28 days prior to the start of your placement in order to login to PaNDa so that you can view your housing information and possible roommate(s).  If you do not received this information please e-mail helpdesk@nosm.ca

After Hours Emergency Contact 705-507-7473. Please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
