Indigenous Health & Cultural Safety Education

The NOSM UME program invites you to attend a Faculty Development session on Indigenous health & cultural safety education session titled “Odawa Midewin Foundation Teachings: Wisdom for growth in cultural safety education“. This session features Anishinaabe Knowledge Keeper David (Sunny) Osawabine and is Co-facilitated by  Dr. Marion Maar and Dr. Maurianne Reade.

This two hour workshop has been developed for NOSM faculty participating in the CBM 106 modules, however it may be of interest to any faculty member who would like to expand their knowledge related to cultural safety.  Registration information can be found on the attached poster.  Register soon, you don’t want to miss this session! Because the session will include a sharing of traditional Indigenous teachings, the session will not be recorded or archived.
