Given the context of remote, rural, and urban care, provided through primary and specialty care, this conference
endeavors to bring the participants together to review common concerns and learning points relevant to our patient
populations in an interdisciplinary setting. We hope you take the time to network with colleagues who have travelled
to attend the conference from throughout Northwestern Ontario and continue conversations with conference
presenters.

Women’s Health Conference (2019) Program

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES

This conference aims to:
1. Identify common best practice approaches to the management of antepartum and intrapartum care.
2. Discuss common gynecological issues faced by women throughout their lifespan.
3. Create a community of best practice for women’s health in Northwestern Ontario.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This conference is targeted to family physicians, specialists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, medical learners, and all health care disciplines with an interest in women’s health.

CERTIFICATION/ACCREDITATION

This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the Continuing Education and Professional Development Office at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine for up to 5.5 Mainpro+ credits.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of  Canada, and approved by the Continuing Education and Professional Development Office at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.
