Northern Ontario Women’s Health Conference Brochure

Given the context of remote, rural, and urban care, provided through primary and specialty care, this conference
endeavors to bring the participants together to review common concerns and learning points relevant to our patient
populations in an interdisciplinary setting. We hope you take the time to network with colleagues who have travelled
to attend the conference from throughout Northwestern Ontario and continue conversations with conference
presenters.

1. Identify common best practice approaches to the management of antepartum and intrapartum care.
2. Discuss common gynecological issues faced by women throughout their lifespan.
3. Create a community of best practice for women’s health in Northwestern Ontario.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This conference is targeted to family physicians, specialists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, midwives, allied
health professionals, medical learners, and all health care disciplines with an interest in women’s health.
