The Research Services Office is here to help you make the most of your research activities. We encourage all residents to subscribe to our biweekly research newsletter, Research Matters, to stay up-to-date on the latest research news and events. PGME Resident Conference Funding & Course Funding
The PGME Office supports the development of leadership skills and scholarly activities for residents by assisting with expenses incurred from attendance at leadership conferences and presentations of research projects at local and national meetings or conferences.
The PGME Office supports residents who attend:
- International Resident Leadership Summit (IRLS) Funding available for program chief/senior residents attending IRLS
- NOSM Northern Health Research Conference (NHRC) 2 grants available for each Royal College program and 6 grants available for CFPC programs
- NOSM Northern Constellations – Faculty Development Conference 2 grants available for each Royal College program and 6 grants available for CFPC programs
- Research Presentation Travel Grants – Presenting at a National Conference within Canada Funding available on a first come, first served basis for original research not presented before if approved by the Program Director.
