NOHFC Research Internships

The intent of the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund (NOHFC) Internship Program is to strengthen Northern Ontario’s competitive advantage and build economic development capacity by attracting and retaining graduates in the North. The program provides recent graduates who are interested in launching and building their careers in Northern Ontario access to internships through NOSM University Faculty members.

NOSM University holds an internal competition for NOHFC Research Internships.  This internal competition is used to determine who the University will support to submit an application externally. All applicants must go through the internal competition before an application can be sent externally to NOHFC.

As part of the NOHFC’s People & Talent Program, NOSM University will host up to five research-related internships annually.  The Internship opportunities will become available on a rolling basis as the quota’s are available.

Please see the Guidelines for further information.

Note to AFP participating clinical faculty members: You are eligible to apply to the NOAMA Grant Match Funding Stream which could assist with your contribution portion of an NOHFC Research Intern. Please see the Information Document for further details.
