In accordance with the power vested in the Board by the NOSM University Act, 2021 (the Act), proclaimed in full force on April 1, 2022 (Regulations) the NOSM University Senate approved revisions to the By-law approved on April 7, 2022 on December 15, 2022. Below you will find the most recent version.
The Bylaws are designed to provide a reference on Senate operations, structure, and policies at NOSM University. The Senate is responsible for oversight of the University’s academic programs in accordance with the Act and By-Laws. In keeping with its vision to provide Innovative Education and Research for a Healthier North, Distributed Community Engaged Learning (DCEL) continues as NOSM’s distinct model of education and research. The Academic-Principles create a framework for the development, delivery and evaluation of the School’s academic programs.
