2026 – Elections
In accordance with the power vested in the Board by the NOSM University Act, 2021 (the Act), proclaimed in full force on April 1, 2022 (Regulations) and the Senate By-law (December 15, 2022)

The positions are for a 3-year term beginning July 1, except for Learner positions which are one year renewable.
Following positions are eligible for nomination or election.
- Human Sciences Division (3 positions)
- Medical Sciences Division (2 position)
- Francophone Academics (1 position)
- Indigenous Academics (1 position)
- Student – Health Sciences/MMS (1 position)
The University Secretary invites those interested to send their name as well as a short 150-word statement giving their qualifications and/or the reasons for their interest.

The following faculty members were acclaimed to their seats as Faculty representatives for the terms listed:

Background
In accordance with the power vested in the Board by the NOSM University Act, 2021 (the Act), proclaimed in full force on April 1, 2022 (Regulations) the documentation contained herein was approved by the NOSM University Senate on April 7, 2022.
The Bylaws (2022 12 15) are designed to provide a reference on Senate operations, structure, and policies at NOSM University. The Senate is responsible for oversight of the University’s academic programs in accordance with the Act and By-Laws.
