Project ECHO Chronic Pain & Opioid Stewardship Series (Evening)
Project ECHO® (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) Chronic Pain & Opioid Stewardship SJCG/TOH (St. Joseph’s Care Group and The Ottawa Hospital) provides free training via web-based videoconferencing to health care providers across Ontario.
SESSION LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1. Perform comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-informed treatment plans.
2. Safely prescribe and manage analgesics for chronic pain.
3. Describe the bio/psycho/social/spiritual complexities of chronic pain and how to guide patients to both medical and non-medical options.
4. Refer patients with chronic pain to specialty services at the most appropriate time.
