Learning objectives:

  1. Identify practical primary care strategies for meeting the needs of people with serious illness and their families.
  2. Describe the current state of maid related care in Canada and the role of primary care.
  3. Advance skills in preparing seriously ill people for advancing illness, meeting their information and emotional needs, and exploring suffering.
