Northern Ontario healthcare professionals are invited to attend the upcoming MSK Day Conference, a full-day, CME
simulation experience focused on enhancing practical musculoskeletal assessment and management skills.
Designed for Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Allied Health Professionals, Residents
and Learners, this interactive conference features rotating skills stations dedicated to the assessment and
management of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle. Each station will be led by an orthopedic surgeon,
providing a unique “ask-the-expert” opportunity for participants to engage directly with specialists.
This conference offers a valuable opportunity to build confidence in diagnosing and managing MSK conditions
commonly encountered in everyday practice.
Conference Learning Objectives:
1. Differentiate common pediatric and adult musculoskeletal conditions based on focused history and physical
examination findings
2. Perform structured musculoskeletal examinations of major joints using evidence-informed techniques
3. Formulate initial management plans for common MSK conditions appropriate to primary and community care
settings
