Hooder Information

Hooding will take place during the “Presentation of Graduates” portion of the ceremony. As a hooder, you will have a place in the procession and will be seated on stage. With this in mind, you will be required to wear an academic gown and hood (traditional/military regalia can be worn in lieu of an academic gown and hood). You are encouraged to wear the regalia from your alma mater but if you do not have this, the Registrar’s Office will provide you a gown and a hood on the day of the ceremony. If you require a gown, please let us know what size based on the chart below:

If you require a hood as well, please also indicate this in your response. Please let us know at convocation@nosm.ca the size of your gown and your hood requirements no later than Friday, April 19, 2024.
