Developing Palliative Care in First Nations Communities in Ontario

SESSION LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Summarize research findings supportive of the development of community-based Palliative Care in First Nations communities
   in Ontario.
2. Illustrate examples of First Nation-driven community Palliative Care initiatives in Ontario.
3. Recognize gaps and challenges in the delivery of community-based Palliative Care in First Nations communities in Ontario.
4. Identify community-driven work as a mechanism to address the gaps and challenges consistent with recommendations arising from research.
