The NOSM CEPD Office is hosting weekly virtual rounds on the management of COVID-19 in northern Ontario.  The NOSM Public Health and Preventive Medicine Residency Program is sponsoring several sessions and presenters with COVID-19 expertise will review key guidance and answer questions relevant to northern physicians, health care providers, faculty and learners. Content will incorporate the realities and challenges of providing clinical care in northern Ontario. Join your northern colleagues as we learn together and from each other. Description:
This second session is focused on the public health containment and mitigation strategies relevant to northern Ontario, including case definition, testing and assessment, federal, provincial, and local roles, and advice for self-monitoring, self-isolation and social distancing.

 


This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the Continuing Education and Professional Development Office at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine for up to 1 Mainpro+ credit.
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Continuing Education and Professional Development Office at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.
