Since 2017, the Cass Family Indigenous Scholarship has been awarded annually to the top-ranked, self-identified Indigenous student entering NOSM University. This scholarship helps reduce financial barriers so that more Indigenous learners can pursue their dreams of becoming physicians and giving back to their communities.

From May 15 to June 21, 2025 in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day, the Cass family will match all donations, dollar for dollar, up to $15,000. That means your gift will have double the impact—together, we can raise $30,000 to strengthen this vital scholarship.
