NOSM University students must be proficient in written and spoken English. Application materials must be submitted in English except for the following:

• Confidential Assessment Forms (CAFs), which may be submitted by referees in French;
• Essay and letter of recommendation for the Francophone Admissions Stream, which must be submitted in French.

NOSM University reserves the right to deny admission to any applicant whose facility in written and spoken English is judged to be inadequate.

Applicants are not required to take the TOEFL testing.
