Established by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the program provides funding to approved agencies to employ health-care students looking to gain relevant work experience in their field of study. Donation will be matched by FDC Foundation, creating a $2.6-million endowment An organization with a longstanding commitment to medical education in Northeastern Ontario has made a $1.3-million gift to NOSM University.
