Both OPSEU members and the Board of Governors voted in favour of the new collective agreement. The agreement, in effect from July 1, 2026, until June 30, 2029, includes increases in compensation and enhancements to employee benefits and other provisions of the collective agreement.

On behalf of NOSM University’s Board of Governors, Mr. John P. Stenger, Chair, would like to thank the members of both negotiating teams for their hard work in reaching an agreement that supports continued labour stability and the work of NOSM University. Dr. Zach Suntres, President of OPSEU Local 677 (Unit 1), also extends his appreciation for the work of the teams and the support of members in reaching an agreement.
