Research Interest
My research examines how nutrients and other small molecules influence physiology, development, and disease at the molecular and cellular level. I am interested in the biochemical pathways that regulate metabolism, signaling, and tissue function, and in how these processes can be studied to better understand human health and disease. My work spans biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, and physiology, and offers students opportunities for training in both fundamental and applied biomedical research.
I am currently accepting thesis students, graduate students at the Masters and Ph.D. levels, and students interested in summer research projects. Trainees with interests in biochemistry, molecular biology, nutrition, metabolism, and related areas of biomedical science are encouraged to get in touch.
