Mike completed an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology & Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2008, a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western University in 2010, and a PhD in Health & Rehabilitation Sciences from Western University in 2014. He also completed a Project Management Certification from the University of California, Irvine in 2020, and subsequently became a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) with the Project Management Institute. Mike is a Registered Occupational Therapist. Previously he worked as an Assistant Professor and as the Fieldwork Coordinator in the School of Occupational Therapy at Western University.

Jennie is the Manager, Rehabilitation Sciences at NOSM University working out of the Sudbury Campus. As a registered Occupational Therapist, she has worked with the adult and aging populations in the community setting. Jennie has experience supporting Rehabilitation Science learners and preceptors in Northern Ontario and is a Health Sciences Faculty member at NOSM University. Jennie attended Laurentian University, where she graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Physical and Health Education with a concentration in Health Promotion and Queen’s University where she graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.

Working out of NOSM University’s Sudbury campus, as the Programs and Partnerships Coordinator, Bethany is passionate about supporting learners, university and clinical partners, as well as community stakeholders. Bethany has a vibrant background in customer experience and stakeholder relationship management as well as expertise working in the post-secondary setting. Bethany is interested in strategic planning, innovative project development and is committed to ensuring seamless communication across all levels.

Dana is the Health Sciences Administrative Assistant and is working out of NOSM University’s Thunder Bay campus. Dana’s experience in administrative support has included a variety of settings, including postsecondary education, clinical research, and Indigenous health research. As a lifelong resident of Northern Ontario Dana is passionate about supporting learners and preceptors, as part of NOSM U’s larger mandate to improve health across the region.
