Rylee Wepruk
Rylee Wepruk is a proud resident of northwestern Ontario and a 2011 graduate of the Northern Ontario Dietetic Internship Program—now the Dietetic Practicum Program (DPP). She began her career as a dietitian with the diabetes program in Sioux Lookout, where she stayed for seven years and made many happy memories. While Sioux Lookout played a significant role in her professional journey, Rylee always intended to return to her hometown of Fort Frances. Meet Lindsay Ainsworth. Lindsay’s journey to becoming a registered dietitian (RD) began as a summer student at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2009, followed by her practicum training with NOSM University’s Northern Ontario Dietetic Internship Program—now the Dietetic Practicum Program (DPP)—in 2010. Meet Beth Griffin. After graduating from the University of Guelph’s applied human nutrition program in 2020, Beth took a two-year break to work in emergency food aid for children in the Greater Toronto Area. This helped her to make a meaningful decision to change her career path and pursue dietetics. Beth successfully completed the Northern Ontario Dietetic Internship Program—now the Dietetic Practicum Program (DPP)—in 2023, a decision that has proven immensely rewarding.
