NOSM University’s Sudbury Campus To Remain Closed on Wednesday, March 18, 2026

The Significant Weather Event for Sudbury has ended; however, city crews continue to clear roadways, prioritizing main arteries and routes that support emergency access. Local and residential streets are being addressed as conditions permit. Crews at Laurentian University have been working continuously but are not expected to complete snow clearing until later tomorrow.

Given the ongoing transportation challenges, and continuing maintenance of NOSM U’s parking and walkway/entrance areas, the Sudbury Campus will remain closed on Wednesday, March 18th.

The Thunder Bay campus will remain open and operate as usual.

We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day and will provide an update in the afternoon.
