Sarah Jacko

Sarah is a member of Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory, located on Manitoulin Island. She graduated from Nipissing University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology. She worked in the environmental field and later transitioned to working in post-secondary education. Sarah highly values family time and making memories, while also enjoying the outdoors, art, exploring spirituality and creating home projects.

Her role as Unit Coordinator is to perform complex administrative duties that supports Indigenous Affairs. This role assists with culture, community, outreach and supports the Director. Some responsibilities include project development and communication and information management. Sarah is the main point of contact for learners, staff, faculty and community. She can help direct or answer your questions.
