As part of the Northern Ontario History of Health & Medicine Lecture Series, Dr. Maureen Lux will present Race, Medicine and the State: Indian Hospitals in Canada. Dr. Lux, PhD, is a Professor and Chair in the History Department at Brock University. Her research interests and award-winning books focus on the history of Indigenous health and medicine in Canada.
