– Successes in Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) at NOSM
– Identify where these successes could be used across NOSM to build capacity
– Potential ideas where NOSM can be international leaders in CBME at all levels!
MedEd Café Facilitator: Dr. Rob Anderson has played a central role in the development and implementation of Competency-Based Medical Education in Anesthesia in Canada. He led the creation of the newest Anesthesia residency program in Canada at NOSM where he is now the CBME lead for postgraduate education. He brings his front line experience to the Clinician Educator team at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada on the Workplace Based Assessment working group.
