Noah Daoust Memorial Fund

The Noah Daoust Memorial Fund was established in 2005 by Noah’s parents to honour the life and legacy of their beloved son. In 2026, the fund became an endowment at NOSM University, ensuring Noah’s memory will continue to make a lasting impact for generations to come.

The fund supports a bursary for a resident in NOSM University’s Pediatrics program, helping to educate and train physicians who will provide compassionate care to children and families across Northern Ontario.

If, in any given year, there is no eligible recipient in Pediatrics, the bursary may instead be awarded to a resident pursuing Oncology. This flexibility ensures the fund continues to reflect Noah’s legacy by supporting physicians dedicated to delivering specialized, compassionate care.

Noah was an eight-year-old boy known for his playful spirit and wonderful sense of humour. He loved playing with his little sister and was endlessly curious about dinosaurs and animals. Through this fund, Noah’s spirit of joy, curiosity, and compassion lives on by supporting the next generation of physicians who will care for Northern Ontario’s children and families.
