Intake Forms & Tuition Deposit Due: March 16, 2026

The following documents must be completed and submitted to the Office of Admissions & Learner Recruitment by no later than March 16, 2026:

DPP Intake Form (complete online); you are required to upload the following documents: 

Non-Refundable Tuition Deposit ($500) (complete online) 

Program Planning Data Form, Final Transcript & Updated Resume Due: June 1, 2026

The following document must be completed and submitted by email to dppadmissions@nosm.ca by no later than June 1, 2026:

  • Final Transcript  
  • Updated resume 

Police Vulnerable Sector Check Due: July 27, 2026

The following document must be completed and submitted by email to dppadmissions@nosm.ca by no later than July 27, 2026.

Immunization, DC Membership, Certifications, & VERIFIED EVR Appointment: July 27, 2026

In order to complete clinical placements, you are required to upload the following documents to the VERIFIED platform by July 27, 2026:

  • NOSM University Immunization Form (Version 2025) 
    • Includes mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 and Influenza
  • Dietitians of Canada Student Membership (certificate) 
  • Professional Liability Insurance from Dietitians of Canada (certificate 
  • Food Safety Course Certification 
  • Research Ethics Course (CORE 2022)-TCPS-2 certificate 

Your Access to VERIFIED: Log-in credentials to set up your VERIFIED account will be sent to your NOSM University email from Synergy Help Desk in early to mid-July.

Electronic Virtual Review (EVR) with VERIFIED
You must schedule an EVR with VERIFIED to review all of your uploaded documents. The deadline to complete your EVR with VERIFIED is July 27, 2026.

EVRs book up quickly closer to deadline dates, so please ensure you schedule an EVR as soon as possible. EVRs cannot be completed until all required documents have been uploaded to the VERIFIED platform.

Initial Clearance Appointment: no cost
Missed Appointment: $49.50 + HST
Follow Up Appointment: $10.00 + HST

Tuition Full Payment Due: August 15, 2026

  • Please see Tuition & Fees webpage – Fee schedule will be updated in April with 2026-2027 tuition. Tuition is paid via the online payment portal. For any tuition related questions please email accounts@nosm.ca 

Orientation to DPP SharePoint: TBD | Virtual

DPP SharePoint is the platform used to share curriculum, learning resources, policies, procedures, and other information to support your success in the DPP.

You will be provided access to this platform in early September and are expected to begin reviewing the clinical study guides and other resources provided in preparation for your first placement.

A mandatory orientation to DPP SharePoint is scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 12:00-1:00 pm EST. This virtual orientation will be delivered via Webex. Please watch your email for the virtual meeting invitation and link.

DPP Orientation Week 1: TBD | Sudbury

This first week of program Orientation is a required professional development event, consisting of multiple workshops, presentations, and activities to support your practicum success and relationship building with fellow learners.

Learners placed in Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie should be prepared to travel on Sunday September 7. All travel costs for Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie learners are covered by the DPP. Travel details will be provided by email in August.

DPP Orientation Week 2: TBD | Principal Sites

The second week of Orientation is September 15-19 in each of your principal sites. Required activities will include hospital orientation and additional professional development workshops, presentations, and activities led by Registered Dietitians (RD) on site at various placement locations. This is a great opportunity to learn more about some of the dietetic practice areas, organizations, and RD preceptors you will be working with throughout the year.

N-95 Mask Fit Test Due: September 21, 2026

N-95 Mask Fit Test completed during Orientation– if you were fitted for an N-95 mask in the last year, share your certificate by July 29, 2026 to dpp@nosm.ca. If you have not been fitted, the DPP will arrange a Mask Fit Test for you during Orientation. 

Annual Influenza Vaccination Due: December 1, 2026

You are required to upload the following document to the VERIFIED platform by December 1, 2026: 

  • Annual Influenza Vaccination verification

NOTE: This does not require another EVR appointment, instructions will be provided to you in September.
