Learner Recruitment and Support Coordinator

Candace Hardy

Candace Hardy is from Biinjitiwaabik Zaaging Anishinaabek which is located on the shores of Lake Nipigon. She graduated from Lakehead University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Indigenous Learning, is a graduate from the Aboriginal Law and Advocacy Program, through Confederation College and has obtained her Personal Support Worker Diploma. She has been working in the health field and transitioned to working in post-secondary education, inspiring hope into others to attend NOSM University.

Candace highly values spending time with her family & friends. She loves going on adventures and finding new areas to explore. She has a passion for cooking and experimenting with new recipes.

Her role as the Learner Recruitment & Support Coordinator is to work closely with the Admissions and Learner Recruitment team and is responsible for learner recruitment and retention at various ages and stages. She will be assisting & advising on all Indigenous learner recruitment & retention services that support Indigenous Affairs.
