After graduating from the University of Guelph’s applied human nutrition program in 2020, Beth took a two-year break to work in emergency food aid for children in the GTA. This helped her to make a meaningful decision to change her career path and pursue dietetics. Beth successfully completed the Northern Ontario Dietetic Internship Program in 2023, a decision that has proven immensely rewarding. Maddy began her journey with NOSM U in 2020 as a summer student with the Lake of the Woods District Hospital. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition at the University of Manitoba in 2021 and her Dietetic Internship with NODIP in 2022. NODIP allowed her to explore a variety of areas in dietetics and discover her passion for clinical nutrition.
