L’EMNO félicite la Dre Doris Mitchell pour l’inauguration du Sacred Tree Wellness Centre situé dans la réserve de la Première Nation crie de Chapleau. La Dre Mitchell est diplômée en médecine (classe de 2010) et du programme de résidence de l'EMNO. Elle a grandi à Chapleau et y dispense des soins depuis juillet 2012. Avant son arrivée, la ville n’avait pas eu de médecin permanent depuis presque sept ans. Le Sacred Tree Wellness Centre fournit des services de soins de santé primaires et de promotion de la santé aux Autochtones et aux non-Autochtones en collaboration avec les Services de santé de Chapleau, le Brunswick ...

Using a combination of video- and tele-conference connectivity across Northern Ontario, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) held a regular meeting of the Board of Directors on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. At the meeting, Board members heard from Kathleen Beatty, NOSM's Director of Equity and Quality and Ted Bridge, NOSM's Director of Human Resources about the progress made regarding the School's strategy to enhance a safe and respectful NOSM community.
