Building bridges across professions, communities and the globe. Simulation-based education can be leveraged to create communities and build relationships. The third CoNFESS colloquium will build from the previous successes to explore the theme of building bridges through simulation. It is our continued aim to engage clinicians as scholars, build collaborations across specialties and institutions and showcase local expertise.
Objectives:
Identify opportunities for scholarship-driven simulation-based education;
Identify a program evaluation plan that includes clinically relevant outcome metrics;
Connect patient outcome and quality improvement data to generate clinically important scholarly questions;
Identify at least one member of the clinical community with similar scholarly interests whom they will connect within the next six months.
