Human Sciences Seminar Series – ICES North

Dr. Mike Conlon Epidemiologist and Biostatistician, Site Director of ICES North. Dr. Joe Caswell Researcher and applied biostatistician, lead analyst at both ICES North and Epidemiology, Outcomes & Evaluation Research at the Northeast Cancer Centre in Sudbury.

Learning Objectives for this seminar are:

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Access data sources at ICES and utilize the supports available

2. Use data to identify trends in personal practice to enhance delivery of care

3. Discuss the sources of data and data analysis to support grant writing, development of research questions and scholarly activity

4. Access data for knowledge translation and support system change

This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the Continuing Education and Professional Development Office at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine for up to 1.00 Mainpro+ credits.
