Printing and Scan to Patron Service

The library is offering new printing and scanning services until further notice to ensure social distancing and low touch points in the library spaces.

Printing

Access to the library printer/copier/scanner is currently limited to library staff.

NOSM members may request print jobs by sending them to askthelibrary@nosm.ca a minimum of 48 hours before required.

Please include the following in your request:

  1. The campus you’d like to pick the item up at.
  2. File(s) in Word or PDF format. How to convert files to PDF.
  3. Mark the subject heading Print Job.

When the print job is complete you will receive an email with pick up details.

Printing will be free of charge until further notice.

Please ensure requests are copyright compliant.

Poster Printing- Laurentian Campus only

We aim to print posters within 72 hours (not including any closures).  Please be sure to send your requests in as early as possible.

Posters cost $28.10 + HST and we also sell poster tubes for $3.50 + HST.  We accept Debit, Visa and MasterCard as forms of payment.

Send poster requests to askthelibrary@nosm.ca and include:

  1. PDF document of the poster
  2. Maximum width of 42”
  3. Include dimensions of poster in inches (Please ensure that the poster is submitted in the size of the intended final product otherwise the poster may not appear as planned).
  4. Provide the name of the person who will pick up poster. You will receive an email with pick up details.

Scan to Patron Service

While access to the library space is limited, NOSM members can request individual chapters from the library’s print collection for personal use.
