A Policies and Procedure Manual has been developed by the Standardized Patient Program (SPP) and is available to all SPs. Please review the manual and use it as a guide with respect to your participation in the program.

Providing positive and constructive feedback to the students is one of the most important and challenging skills you will do as a standardized patient.  In addition to the feedback training you received during orientation, the Guide to Effective Feedback will assist you in enhancing your feedback skills.

Change of Personal Information/Banking Information


With respect to any change of personal information (i.e., contact number, address, email, etc), please advise the Clinical Skills Program Coordinators at your earliest opportunity.

The Finance department recommends that all SP be set up with direct deposit to ensure easy and quick payment.  If you are not currently being paid via direct deposit, please download the Personal Direct Deposit form and submit to Finance.

If your banking information has changed, a new form must be completed and re-submitted to Finance.
