Learner Affairs Office
NOSM’s Learner Affairs Office operates in consultation to the academic program, but is a confidential service for individual students, at arm’s length from academics. Learner Affairs offers services and support which assist learners personally and financially. It also has a primary role in career development, learner wellness and support for student initiatives. We support learners by being accessible and responsive. Learner Affairs works with faculty and administration to facilitate a positive learning environment based on mutual respect.
Supporting Learners for Success
By providing the highest quality of services to learners, we will help to foster the best environment for learning in their personal and academic development as health professionals. Learner Affairs works to enhance the experience of learners at all stages of their time with NOSM through the provision of a range of professional services.
Our motto is “Learners First.” We are committed to assisting students to reach their full potential emotionally, intellectually, spiritually and physically. We support learners by being accessible and responsive. Learner Affairs works with faculty and administration to facilitate a positive learner-centred environment based upon mutual respect.
