LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Describe new developments and emerging issues in the field of Emergency Medicine.
  2. Promote evidence based practice as it relates universally to total and remote emergency departments and urban centres.
  3. Review common clinical presentations in the ED that lead to error and implement measures to reduce risks.
