The goal of the PocketSnips project is to provide high-quality educational materials that will benefit a variety of learners and be accessible to Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs).

Specifically targeted are the learning needs of medical students and residents, nursing students, and other allied health professionals.

The PocketSnips videos, providing information about specific procedures, may also benefit patients and their families through the sharing of peer-reviewed information. For example, the potential of the videos in facilitating informed consent is self-evident.

Finally, while the videos comprise a major component of the educational content of this site, all videos are contextualized with relevant text-based documents.
