On January 22, 2010, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM), the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences, and the University of Toronto welcomed the first class of Physician Assistants into the Physician Assistants (PA) Professional Degree Program. The unique collaboration among these leading academic institutions provides a blend of education and learning opportunities in community sites across Ontario.
